How to choose an online casino bonus from our listing
We gather promotions from all casinos in our top list in one place, so that you don't need to browse around. New bonuses appear throughout the week, while exclusive offers are updated every Thursday.
Bonuses marked with the diamond symbol are offers available exclusively on our website, as we have special agreements with casino operators. These can have a larger amount of free spins, a higher match bonus, or lower wagering requirements than their regular promotions. Such offers are only available through our link or with our promo code.
Filters help you navigate easily and sort the promotions by bonus type, by casino, or select only exclusive promos. Each bonus card contains everything a casino player needs for making an informed decision: the bonus amount, wagering requirements, withdrawal limit, expiry date, and a step-by-step activation guide. Below, we break down the key terms, bonus types, and potential questions that may arise.
Canadian Casino Bonus Terms & Conditions
As you go through the list of promotions, you will encounter a number of widely used terms. We have put together a table that explains these in more detail.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Wagering requirement | The number of times you need to bet your bonus funds to be eligible for a withdrawal. For instance, when you claim a C$100 bonus with a 30x wager, you must bet a total of C$3,000 (C$100 x 30). |
| Wagering period | A specific timeframe during which a casino player must meet the wagering requirements. If you don’t complete the playthrough within a certain period, the bonus typically expires. |
| Game contribution | How much of your real-money wagers on specific types of games count toward meeting the wagering requirements. Typically, slots contribute 100% while other types of games can count as 20%, 10% or even 0%. |
| Minimum deposit | Most bonuses start at deposits between C$10 and C$30. Options for highrollers are bigger, so they require from C$100 to even C$1,000. Also, a single bonus can have several variations. For instance, 100 FS for C$30 or 200 FS for C$100. |
| Max win | The largest amount of funds you can receive from winnings generated from a bonus. Usually there is a specific cap, like C$1,500, or a multiplier, such as 5x the bonus or deposit amount. |
When browsing through bonuses, always check the terms of the promotion, especially the wagering requirements and expiry dates. Wagering requirement is the most important here, as it defines how hard it will be to withdraw the winnings. 30x-40x is the industry standard, but no deposit bonuses may require 50x or higher. Naturally, a no wager casino bonus doesn't need to be played through. An expiration period of 7+ days is optimal, and anything less than that could be hard to complete, especially if you are a new or casual player. A less impressive offer with clear and fair terms is more preferable than a larger one with many restrictions.
Bonus types
There are various bonus types that online casinos are willing to offer their Canadian players. These include no deposit and welcome deals, cashback and reloads.
No deposit bonuses
No deposit bonuses don’t require an initial payment, allowing you to withdraw winnings after completing wagering requirements. You simply sign up for an account, and sometimes enter a promo code, to receive the bonus. They can include:
- No deposit cash is where the casino gives you a small amount of funds directly in your bonus account. For example, Energy Casino offers a C$7 no deposit bonus upon registering via our link.
- No deposit free spins are bonuses specifically for slot enthusiasts. This is a certain number of free rounds that the casino offers you without any deposit, such as 20 FS at Spinline Casino with the STRMNODEP promo code.
Welcome bonuses
These promotions are reserved for new players who join a casino and are ready to start playing for the first time. They can differ in size and type:
- Match bonuses are when a casino matches your deposit by a certain percentage. For instance, with a 200% bonus up to 3,000 USDT at Wyns Casino, you can deposit 100 USDT and receive 200 USDT as bonus funds.
- Fixed bonuses are granted for a specific deposit amount and rarely offered as welcome deals. Most of them are reload bonuses, such as 50 FS at Ragnaro upon making a C$30 deposit.
- Welcome packages include a combination of deposit match and free spins, sometimes with extra bonus crabs or coins. A typical offer would be a 150% bonus up to C$750 + 75 FS at Onlywin Casino with the 150WINCA promo code.
- Some high roller bonuses have a larger max cap but also require bigger deposits, such as a max. 150% bonus up to C$82,552 + 400 FS at Snatch Casino, available from a C$2,000 deposit.
Cashback bonus
This is a refund of a percentage of your net losses over a specific time period, usually daily, weekly, or monthly. If you lose C$200 on live casino games at Alawin, a 25% cashback bonus would grant you C$50 in returns. The percentage typically ranges from 5% to 25% and comes with a turnover requirement from 0x to 25x. This bonus is mostly used by regular and high-volume players.
Reload bonus
Active players who have already made their first deposit can claim reload bonuses. They typically come in various increments ranging from 25% to 100% and may be available on a weekly, monthly, daily, or every deposit basis. For example, GGBet weekly offers a 150% bonus up to C$700 with 65 free spins.
Bonus activation and cancellation methods
There are several ways to activate a bonus that you received or found on a particular casino website:
- Use a promo code. To get your bonus, you can enter a specific code in a designated field during registration, deposit, or in your account settings.
- Automatic activation. In this case, the promotion is credited automatically after you complete the required action, such as sign-up, deposit, or opt-in.
- Via customer support. Some VIP incentives and occasionally cashbacks require you to manually activate a bonus by contacting customer support via live chat or email.
As an example, Spinline Casino is giving away a no deposit bonus of 15 free spins. You have to register at the casino and the bonus will be automatically activated. Then you just have to select an eligible game and use your 15 FS.
Payment methods and bonuses
Not all payment options activate the bonus. Some of them are only allowed for deposits but aren’t valid to claim promotions. Based on our observations of bonus terms, payment methods can be categorized as follows:
Almost always eligible: Interac, Visa, Mastercard, and prepaid cards such as Paysafecard and Neosurf usually allow you to claim any bonus.
Often excluded: Skrill and Neteller. This is standard practice among online casinos, even for welcome bonuses. These e-wallets can be restricted due to the higher risk of bonus abuse.
Depends on the casino: MuchBetter, Jeton, and cryptocurrencies. The rules vary from one bonus to another, so read the specific terms and conditions of the offer before replenishing your account.
Check these three things before making a deposit to collect a certain bonus offer:
- Make sure that your payment method qualifies for the bonus. If it’s not clear, contact the customer support.
- Confirm the minimum amount required to activate the bonus, and do not deposit less than that.
- Check if you can withdraw your winnings using the same payment method.
Which bonus is the best?
The process of selecting the best offer depends on your goals, personal preferences, expectations, and objectives.
Based on our team's observations and market research, if you want to test a casino or explore new games, you should consider no deposit free spins. The exclusive offer from Playfina that we mentioned above lets you claim 20 FS without having to use your own funds.
When you are ready to spend real money and seek promotions with a minimum deposit and maximum playtime, look at welcome bonuses at C$5 minimum deposit casinos. Wageon Casino gives you 20 free spins upon a C$5 deposit, with a C$50 max win cap and 20x wagering requirement.
Canadian players who want to get the most out of their first deposit will benefit from high-match welcome bonuses or high-roller offers of 150% and more. A 200% bonus at Asino of up to C$160 triples your deposit and also gives you 100 free spins for Elvis Frog Trueways by BGaming.
If you are already an active player, consider reload bonuses to boost your balance and use cashback to recover some of the losses. With a minimum deposit of C$30, BetAlice offers 50 FS on your first deposit of the week. There you can also claim weekly cashback, which is up to 15% for slots and 25% for live casino games, both with a 1x wagering requirement.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I cash out my winnings from a bonus?
You must meet the rollover requirements of the casino bonus within the expiration period. The progress is displayed in your casino account. For example, a 40x wager for a C$100 bonus means that you need to make C$4,000 in bets to be eligible for withdrawals. Once done, you can make a withdrawal request.
How do I know a bonus offer is legit?
You can read our reviews, consider players' feedback, and look for genuine online casino bonuses from reputable brands. These casinos should have a valid license number listed in their footer that you can verify on the gambling authority's website. They also must feature transparent bonus terms.
Can I win from free spins?
Free spins are one of the best bonus deals that allow you to play slots and keep what you win. However, keep in mind that the winnings typically require wagering, usually, from 30x to 50x.
Can you win real money from no deposit free spins?
Yes, you can. However, real money winnings from free spins almost always come with wagering requirements and a maximum cashout limit. Make sure to read the bonus terms and conditions carefully.
How can I tell if a bonus is available in my province?
You can check the bonus terms and conditions or contact customer support and ask them directly. Casino platforms licensed in Ontario must follow AGCO rules, which may affect bonus eligibility.
Can I get multiple bonuses at once?
Usually, no. Most casinos allow only one active bonus at a time, and every casino operator prohibits the use of multiple accounts.
How do I cancel a bonus?
Cancellation methods vary by casino, but typically, you will need to go to ‘My Bonuses’ and click Cancel or Remove Bonus. Alternatively, you can contact live chat or email support and request cancellation.
What's the difference between Sticky and Non-Sticky bonuses?
If you can’t withdraw the initial bonus amount after meeting the wagering requirements, then the bonus is sticky. For example, you made a C$100 deposit and received C$100 as a bonus, which makes your balance C$200. If you wager it and end up with a total balance of C$1,000, you will be able to cash out only C$900, which is your original deposit plus winnings. With a Non-Sticky bonus, you would be able to withdraw C$1,000.
What are Bonus Buys?
Slots with the Bonus Buy option allow you to purchase direct entry into a bonus round without the need to be triggered in the game process. Note that these are separate in-game features, not the promotions offered by casinos.
