Legal online gambling market in Ontario turned two years old at the start of April and has 47 registered operators and 77 regulated websites on its books. The result? A total of 86.4% of Ontarians who gambled online between February 2024 and April 2024 did so on regulated sites conducted and managed by iGaming Ontario (iGO), according to a survey conducted by Ipsos in conjunction with the gambling authority, bringing millions of dollars in revenue to the state.

IGT and Pragmatic Play lead the way in Canada – Updated: April 1, 2024
Market analysis conducted by Eilers-Fantini, a leading source of independent and actionable information in the Global Gaming Industry, revealed Canada's two most popular gaming developers in February – IGT and Pragmatic Play. These two industry giants were on equal footing, but IGT just won the edge with a Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) of 15.9%, narrowly beating Pragmatic Play (15.4%). Pragmatic Play's Sweet Bonanza topped the overall game ranking charts.
