How are tournament points actually calculated?
Finished a tournament well outside the top 10 and honestly I have no idea what I was supposed to be doing differently b'y. Is it total wagered, biggest win, number of spins? Somebody explain the scoring like Im new, because clearly I am

Read the rules on the tournament page before you start, not after. I say this as someone who has never once done it
It's set per tournament in the Specific Rules, they aren't all scored the same way. That's the bit that catches people
Dear @IglooJackpot, it's none of the three, and that's the part that trips people up. Our tournament terms put it in one line: your score is the total points you build up in one active tournament session, and points come off what the spins pay, not off how much you staked or how many spins you got through. Everyone on a weekly board starts with the same 300 spins at the same fixed bet, so there's nothing there to outspend anyone on.
The points-per-spin method isn't the same on every board, and it's printed in the Specific Rules on the tournament page, so read that before you start rather than after. Last week's Fortune Trio board says it all: the winner finished on 124160 and nobody else got past 48300, off the same 300 spins. One or two big bonus rounds carry a score. And if two players land on the same total, whoever reached it first ranks higher.
The most common mistake by a distance is finishing a board with spins still unused.
