There is mounting concern about an outbreak of measles in Canada, which is beginning to gather pace.
Experts are pleading with the public to help keep the deadly virus at bay by getting fully vaccinated and staying in touch with local information to track news of infection in a local area.
If a person born in 1970 or afterwards with fewer than the recommended number of measles vaccines were caught in an area of exposure, they are encouraged to seek medical advice.
According to the latest tracking data from the Public Health Agency Of Canada (PHAC), there have been 49 cases reported in Quebec and 14 cases in Ontario, with sporadic reports of other cases throughout the rest of the country.
