Canadian Gaming Summit: Early Bird Tickets Available

Canadian Gaming Summit

Tickets are officially on sale for the SBC Canadian Gaming Summit 2024 - the biggest iGaming conference in the Canadian sector.

The event brings together casino and sportsbook verticals and regulatory authorities, uniting thousands of representatives from across the industry at all business levels.

Tickets are on sale here. The event is slated to take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto from June 18 to June 20, 2024.

What Is The SBC Canadian Gaming Summit?

The summit serves as a platform for discussion, learning, and networking among individuals and organisations involved in all aspects of the gaming sector - and it has been the dialogue hub for the industry ever since its inaugural event in 2018.

Organisers expect more than 3,000 delegates, over 2,000 operators, and 200 or so affiliates to attend this year's event, smashing last year's record of over 2,000 attendees.

According to its website, the 2024 conference will be made up of approximately 40% C-level decision-makers, with 20% as top-level executives and founders and the other 20% coming from directors, heads of departments, Vice Presidents, and Senior Vice Presidents.

The goal, the website states, is to

reflect the changing face of the industry, with a conference agenda and exhibitors that encompass both the newer sports betting sector and the more established casino gaming and lottery verticals.

Who Is Speaking At The Event?

Conference-goers will have a mammoth selection of speakers to study and learn from - but who are the standout talkers?

One of the headline acts is Steve Lautischer, Vice President of Gaming at the Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC) Commission. A key figure in realising the potential of gambling in Canada, he was instrumental in the early days of the Play Alberta authority - his work has helped lay the groundwork for the regulatory framework in the region.

Another speaker is Paul Pellizzari, Vice President of Global Social Responsibility at Hard Rock International. He is an expert on corporate social responsibility and has written two books on the subject: Conscious Consumption: Corporate SR and Canada's Grocery Giants and Shopping with A Conscience. His insights will shine a light on the importance of responsibility in the sector.

Paul Burns is another recognisable name making the trip to Toronto - President and CEO of the Canadian Gaming Association. An inductee into the Sports Betting Hall of Fame, his previous roles include the Senior Advisor for the Office of the Mayor in Toronto, as well as the Vice President for RPC Gaming.
